Our Rehearsal Dinner

Our Rehearsal Dinner felt like something out of a dream. Hosted in the enchanting backyard of my mom’s dear friend, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect—a sprawling vineyard-inspired garden surrounded by lush greenery, twinkling string lights, and a sky full of stars.

The evening was intimate, filled with the people we love most, gathered together to celebrate the start of a weekend we’ll never forget. We wanted the night to feel relaxed yet elegant, so we opted for long, family-style tables adorned with table lamps, seasonal blooms, and this gorgeous floral tablecloth that complemented the surroundings.

Dinner featured a delicious menu inspired by fresh, local flavours, paired with wine hand-selected to honour the wine country setting. The laughter, heartfelt toasts, and clinking glasses created a warmth that carried through the cool night air.

For me, the most special part was taking a moment to look around and soak it all in—the people, the atmosphere, and the anticipation of what was to come. It was the perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend, and I’ll cherish the memories of that magical evening forever.
